so we spent a few days in Miami, on South Beach of all places…. very very interesting. We stayed at the South Beach Hostel and hung out with a bunch of partying young europeans(we were in a room with 6 irish kids, they went to bed at the same time that we were waking up) otherwise we just swam and climbed trees and enjoyed the legality of being topless on South Beach.
Then we headed about 40 miles south to Homestead. It’s a total farm town, yay!! There’s a really cool fruit stand/store called Robert is Here were we’ve been playing a little bit of music and we’re staying at the everglades hostel. This place is absolute paradise!!!!!!! waterfalls, communal meals, awesome people, hammocks, outdoor showers, campfires and sleeping under the stars all in exchange for a little music. And our family happens to be here(Ebb, Flow and Electric) Family photo soon to come.
So today it’s off to help some folks who have a farm in the area. Probably help out for a few days. Homestead is AWESOME.
